Abstract

This paper presents a secure and transparent decentralized voting system leveraging blockchain technology to address the limitations of traditional voting methods. Conventional voting systems often suffer from issues such as lack of transparency, susceptibility to tampering, centralized control, and limited voter trust. To overcome these challenges, the proposed system utilizes a distributed ledger framework that ensures immutability, integrity, and verifiability of votes. The system integrates cryptographic hashing and smart contract mechanisms to securely record and validate each vote while preserving voter anonymity. A secure authentication module is implemented to prevent unauthorized access and duplicate voting. Additionally, the use of Ethereum-based infrastructure enables real-time vote tracking and decentralized control, eliminating the need for intermediaries. Experimental analysis demonstrates that the proposed model enhances security, reduces the risk of fraud, and improves overall trust in the electoral process. The system is scalable, efficient, and suitable for deployment in real-world voting scenarios such as elections, organizational polls, and e-governance applications. This work contributes to advancing secure digital voting solutions by combining blockchain technology with robust security protocols.
