Abstract: The manufacturing cycle need to adopt should have the standard steps for development. The main steps must overlook the complexity of the manufacturing types and systems to be adopted. The analysis looked to the digitalization of engineering products for development. The MIDI controlled metal engineering sectors will be a business enterprise having passed process approach for development. There are operating development enhancement program that is held in Metal Industry Development Institute (MIDI). The main objectives of the institute in the development tasks are to propose directive in the policy making with research based strategy to help the sectors stakeholders and the paper is aimed to propose lists of mainly engineering product such as machineries, equipment, spare part and automotive units that will have market potentials in local and nearby local market that need to be restricted to our manufacturers. The data are available from institute’s research documents and customs as a primary source. The other reference sources are considered to supplement the paper core points which are considered as secondary data. The final result and conclusion propose engineering products which need to have strong support from government side in supporting with privilege depending on the technological complexity of the manufacturer. At the end machine lists to be restricted for domestic owners are identified with their HS code.
