Abstract

Underwater communication faces numerous obstacles due to the inefficiencies of traditional techniques such as radio frequency and acoustic signaling. To address issues like limited data rates, signal delays, and susceptibility to environmental noise, this paper introduces an innovative solution based on Light Fidelity (Li-Fi). We propose "Aqua-Lux," a practical and optimized model that employs visible light for efficient underwater data transmission. By using modulated LED signals to convey binary data, which are received via optical photo detectors, the system achieves higher speeds, improved energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. This study details the system's structure, working principles, hardware components, and its applicability in areas like marine research, environmental tracking, and defense operations. Aqua-Lux demonstrates itself as a viable, secure, and high-capacity alternative to existing underwater communication methods.
