Abstract: Food donation system is a process generally led by food donation societies that arecollecting food from businesses and individualities or from the ones with excess of goods,repository it, distribute it to the food banks and someday turn it towards people in communitythat have a deficiency of particular goods. Food donation system is, thus, a part of charitableconditioning generally organized by civil society associations occasionally supported by state ororiginal governments. Although arguments in favor of creating food donation system areveritably clear and respectable to utmost, those included in an attempt to organize it are generally managing with numerous obstacles and resistance like the need to lobby governments for change duty and other legislation connected to food donation, move possible benefactorsthat bestowed food wants to produce negative issues for them like black requests, condensationin demand etc. Another set of challenges is in creating effective donation association andlogistics. As charity associations are frequently connected in networks, from an organizational point of- view, food donation systems generally surfaced in a mongrel organizational formnearly between firm scales and pure request association of deals. The creation of a fooddonation system in Croatia is in its veritably onsets of making a food waste operation programand food donation associations. thus, the main end of the paper is to address someorganizational issues that stand in the way of the creation of a sustainable food donation system. We deconstructed stylish practice in European countries similar as Italy and France who haveset effective laws to enhance food donation. Grounded on their experience and recommendations from association proposition, we aim to contribute to the present and theunborn sweats to produce an effective and sustainable system that would fit the requirements of the Republic of Croatia, and other CEE countries with analogous social and institutional environment
