Abstract: Comparator is a fundamental design block in ADCs. Comparator is a contraption that glances at two voltages or streams and gives a mechanized yield that exhibits which of the data is greater. In plan of ADCs, comparators of low power use, quick are used. In quick easy to modernized converters, comparator arrangement influences the overall show that can be achieved. In this paper, we have proposed a new low power, high speed single tail and twofold tail comparators using power gating techniques. The assessment of speed and power consumed by proposed fine grain and coarse grain twofold tail comparators with traditional comparators like single tail and twofold tail comparators is furthermore presented. We saw that irrelevant multiplication time delay and low power use is achieved by the proposed fine grain twofold tail comparators which make them suitable for fast ADCs.
